Putin Rattles Europes Cage

In another example of the shaky and divisive nature of the world oil and gas business, Russian President Vladimir Putin lashed out at other European leaders and made a veiled threat to pursue "new Asian markets" with his oil exports. Putin briefly cut gas exports to the Ukraine lin Janueary to gain political and economic leverage which negatively impacted European supplies.
