Texas Power Outage

Looks like the chickens have come home to roost down Texas way. A massive heat wave and associated power shortage have hit G.W.'s Lone Star State where it hurts...in the air conditioner. The Bush energy plan is finally hitting home. Can anyone say...global warming?

  • Are you really that stupid or can't you read the story that expalins the reason for the power outages in Texas and they have nothing to do with the Energy policy. They had a part of their power system down for routine maintenance in preparation for the Summer months and then they lost several power generation plants due to over usage. Where exacty does a failed Energy Policy play into that scenario?

  • I may well be retarded...but the point I was making was that the massive spring heat wave may be associated with global warming, a phenomenon that Bush sees no scientific basis for. Just a little irony. An energy policy created by oilmen and supported by the Bush administration has done nothing to mitigate the bigger problem as weather patterns and storms get more extreme.
