Green Gas Hits the High Court

This Stinks: You'd think that the EPA would do its job, and enforce its own guidelines -- without the Supreme Court getting involved. But no. A dozen states had to file a lawsuit with the High Court to decide -- get this -- whether or not the EPA is REQUIRED under the Federal Clean Air law to treat carbon dioxide from auto emissions as a pollutant, harmful to our health. And we wonder how we got to this global warming point. Kinda pathetic. Hold your nose and click HERE for more, courtesy of CNN.

  • Sorry about the carbon dioxide. I find things like that so frustrating too. Have a special thing at present about all those four wheel drive vehicles that guzzle gas and spew out pollution in urban areas. Think they should be banned in cities except for people who need them for real reasons, and obtain a license.

  • aah leave it to government to make doing the right thing more difficult than it must be.

  • Well you can't expect the government to make healthier things EASY to do, can you? ;-)

Thanks for the rent space by the way.

  • As long as corporations with big money buy political power it will be very difficult to change CO2 emissions policy. Al Gore's movie has made a dent in changing public opinion, but as yet, no politician is losing an election over this issue (except maybe in California).
